§ 8.24.050. Failure to abate nuisance—Infractions.

  • Any owner, agent, person having charge of, or occupying, any premises on which the nuisance is being committed within the city, or any person creating, causing, committing, or maintaining the nuisance who refuses or neglects to abate the same in pursuance to the request specified in the notice within the period specified therein, which shall in no case be less than twenty-four hours, shall be guilty of an infraction, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine in accordance with the provisions of Section 1.20.040 of this code. This shall be in addition to all other available remedies as hereinafter set forth as provided by law.
