§ 2.16.100. Duties of captain.

The captain of the fire department shall attend all fires and directly assist the fire chief in the discharge of his duties on all occasions; and, in the case of the absence or inability of the fire chief to act, the captain shall have control of the fire department and, in all respects, shall perform the duties of the fire chief.
