§ 12.20.020. Permit required—Application.

  • A.

    It is unlawful for any person to erect or install a banner extending over, along, or across any street without first obtaining a permit therefore, or to maintain the same without such permit or in violation of the terms or conditions of such permit.

    B.

    Such permit shall be issued by the director of public works only upon a written application therefore. Application forms shall be furnished by the city and shall specify the following:

    1.

    The name and address of the applicant;

    2.

    The location, dimensions and purpose of the proposed banner;

    3.

    A facsimile of the proposed banner, including any legend or written matter;

    4.

    The proposed date and time when the banner is proposed to be erected or installed and removed; and

    5.

    Such other information as the director of public works may require.
